Jamie Craine is a recent graduate from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, completing both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2016 and a Master of Architecture with an emphasis on Digital Design and Fabrication in 2018.
Her professional career began with two consecutive internships at OPN Architects in Cedar Rapids, Iowa while attending graduate school, which then transitioned into a full-time position as an intern architect in 2018. She has since been involved in large variety of project types, assists in organizing office events, such as OPN’s Future Architects Day, and leads the firm’s Digital Fabrication Committee. Jamie is passionate about finding innovative design solutions and creating spaces that have a positive impact on its users and the community. She is on the path to licensure and plans to complete her architectural registration exams within the next year. Jamie is an active member of local professional organizations, such as the AIA Iowa Emerging Professionals Committee and the South East Iowa Architects Section (SEIAS). In her free time, Jamie is also an avid photographer, with work published in the Photographer’s Forum, and loves to travel and experience new places. |
